San Antonio is in DC wanting assistance, while at home they are ramming through a 100 million dollar down town street-car project. SA is one of the highest debt cities in the US thanks to it's Socialist mayor. Cut spending has become a dirty, politically incorrect phrase. The only programs even considered for cuts, locally and nationally, seem to be the essential services never social programs or frills.

Only in your dreams could a cut in the increase of federal spending cause a problem. Federal spending still goes up over last year just not quite as much. So this is what caused the problem in Floresville, so we need a hand out, free government money extorted from others. Yes that will solve our problem. Local socialists as well as the national ones think alike. Free government money. Get your head in the game mayor. Solve locally caused problems locally. Are you not capable of doing that. Then resign!
