Lt. Chad Clark of the Floresville Police Department, who also serves as the Wilson County Pct. 2 constable, has been selected as one of 25 law-enforcement supervisors statewide to serve on a focus group at the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Manage-ment Institute of Texas. Clark is a graduate of the institute’s Leadership Command College, and has published a paper on Law Enforcement Leadership at Sam Houston State University.

The institute is a joint venture with the Center for Executive Development at Texas A&M University and the School of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston University.

The goal of the focus group is to design a curriculum for a new fourth phase for the college, which is the institute’s most comprehensive program. The Leadership Command College is designed to provide law-enforcement executives with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful leadership in a modern law- enforcement agency.

I also heard that Clark was going to be a full time Constable. I did not vote for Clark but even though he is still working for Floresville PD I still see him out working as a Constable. This is far more than I can say for Constable ... More ›
