One Book One Community, Wilson County Reads program invites all to a free Genealogy Research Workshop and a Wilson County First Families event on Thursday, March 14, in the Sam Fore Jr. Wilson County Library at One Library Lane in Floresville.

Are you related to a Texan who fought at the Alamo? Join others in the library at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. and obtain a website to advance family history research. Additionally, at 6 p.m., Wilson County families are welcome to share stories of any family member who fought during the Battle of the Alamo time period. For more, call Sandy Migl at 830-391-2161 or visit
