SAN ANTONIO -- Catholic Life Insurance will kick off the 236th anniversary of the American flag with a children’s poster contest. All children currently enrolled in grades kindergarten through fifth are invited to proudly show what the flag and its principles mean to them. Eighteen winners will receive cash prizes.

The theme for this year’s poster contest is: “America: The Land I Love.” Each participant must submit an original poster no larger than 20x20 made of either poster board or construction paper. All posters must include an image of the American flag and will be judged on eye appeal, originality, theme, and identification.

Participants do not have to be Catholic Life members or of the Catholic faith to qualify. Entry forms and complete contest rules may be downloaded from the company website at www.cliu.com. Entries must be received no later than Friday, May 10.

For more information, contact Briana Frantz at 1-800-292-2548 or 210-828-9921, ext. 141.
