Stockdale News: Last call for royalty candidates
The last meeting of the Stockdale Chamber of Commerce was held Feb. 25, and once again, discussions centered around the upcoming Watermelon Jubilee.
It is not too late to register as a candidate in the Jubilee and Rodeo courts. If your son or daughter is interested in participating in the Jubilee or Rodeo courts, please contact Dusty Wehmeyer at 830-477-6077 or via email at email@example.com. The contests for Queen Melone and Miss Rodeo Stockdale are open to incoming sophomore through senior ladies at Stockdale High School. The contests for Jubilee Princess and Rodeo Princess are open to incoming sixth-grade through ninth-grade girls. The contests for Little Miss Stockdale, Little Mr. Stockdale, Little Miss Rodeo, and Little Mr. Rodeo are open to incoming kindergarten through fourth-grade Stockdale students. This is a fabulous way to represent the city of Stockdale and our Watermelon Jubilee, in addition to earning great prizes and scholarships.
As a reminder, if you are interested in having a food, craft, or information booth on the grounds during Jubilee weekend, please visit our website www.stockdaletx.org for entry forms and rules. Prospective vendors may also email firstname.lastname@example.org for information packets and more information.
Now is the time to secure your Jubilee sponsorship slot as well. This is a great way to advertise your business during Jubilee weekend. Our 2013 sponsorship package can be found on our website as well.
The Stockdale Chamber of Commerce and Stockdale Inn & Suites invite all to attend Stockdale Inn & Suites’ open house and ribbon-cutting set for Saturday, April 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
