Entries sought for veterans parade

Submit your entries now for “The Parade That Never Was,” a parade to welcome home our Vietnam veterans, to be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, in Beeville. A ceremony and lunch for veterans and their families will follow the parade in the pavilion at the Bee County Expo Center at 214 F.M. 351 in Beeville.

All entries must be received by Friday, May 3, be patriotic-themed, and be a tribute to a veteran or veterans group. All veterans who served at any time, including World War II, Korea, Iraq, or Afghanistan, are invited to participate.
