SAN ANTONIO -- Wilson County is well-represented in the San Antonio Lutheran Coronation Association’s 2013 “Court of Fur & Feathers.” The coronation took place March 9 in the Scottish Rite Auditorium in San Antonio.

Participants from Wilson County include President Mary Eaton; Duchess Natalie Adams and her duke, Cullen Bauer; court pages Emelie Baumann, Madelynn Castro, Arianna Guzman, Colleen Jowers, Kaitlin Jowers, Hailey Lopez, Skye Lopez, Macy Strozier, and Krystal Ritzen.

The members of the Lutheran Coronation are individuals from all walks of life, who lovingly give of their time and talents to make the coronation possible. They represent various religious denominations; they do not have to be of the Lutheran faith. Participants are nominated by past court members, pastors, or others and are selected by the members of the San Antonio Lutheran Coronation Association according to their faithfulness and work in their church, school, and community.

By honoring these deserving young men and women, people from many churches will be brought together to express Christ’s influence in their lives. The coronation association’s prayer is that all they do will be to the glory of God.

The San Antonio Lutheran Coronation Association is a nonprofit organization, which honors young Christian men and women and gives them the opportunity to serve as witnesses to Jesus Christ. This year, the association supports St. PJ’s Children’s Home in San Antonio, and other charity events.
