Lynn Yarnes, 52, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Des Plaines, Ill., on March 26, 1960, to Donald Francis Rose and Charlene Marselles.

A native of Illinois and a San Antonio resident for the past 13 years, Lynn was a member of the St. John Neumann Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.

She was preceded in death by her father; and her daughter, Kelly Lynn Gilligan.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Douglas Yarnes of San Antonio; mother Charlene Rose of Illinois; her sons, Tech. Sgt. Robert Donald Yarnes and wife Christine Renae of Las Vegas, Nev., and Zachary Daniel Yarnes and Aaron Alexander Yarnes, both of San Antonio; sisters Gwynn Pashawitz of Barrett, Ill., Ruth Cornelius of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Gail Rose McGeever of Mt. Prospect, Ill.; grandchildren Braden, Joshua, and Matthew Yarnes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 27, in the St. John Neumann Catholic Church in San Antonio.

Inurnment will follow at a later date.
