Residents in the Eagle Creek area north of Floresville reported observing “marble-sized” hail just after noon April 3. According to the Austin-San Antonio National Weather Service Forecast Office, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected throughout much of South Central Texas today, with strong thunderstorms possible “east of a line from Llano to San Marcos to Yorktown.” The strong storms have the potential to produce dime-sized hail.

I didn't see any hail in Floresville, but I don't think we had that much rain here either -- less than an inch. Citizens reported a little more than 2 inches in Abrego ... Read More Read More
