Annette E. Odom, 55, of Gillett, Texas, departed from us on Saturday, March 9, 2013. She was born on Nov. 20, 1957, to Doris V. Fellers and Jerry E. Glenn.

Annette touched many hearts and lives as she served the kids and teachers in the Karnes City Independent School District for more than 10 years. She was also a volunteer member of the Gillett Fire Department and dedicated her life to raising her family. The family would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude for all the support, love, and condolences everyone has shown in their time of need. Thank you and God bless each and every one of you. She is and will be greatly missed by so many. We love you, Mom, said the family.

Annette was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her children, Chris Green of Gillett, Krishawna Torres and husband Juan of Karnes City, Terry Odom and wife Brandy of Brady, and Clinton Odom of South Carolina; siblings Jackie Marian, Jerry Glenn, Wendy Tieken, Tina Kinsey, Steven Glenn, Monie Fellers, and Anthony Marino; and her six grandchildren, Chastity, Hope, Cheyanne, Makaylah, McKenzie, and Adrian; her mother; three brothers; four sisters; three nieces; three nephews; and four great-nieces.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 12, at 6 p.m. in the Rhodes Funeral Home in Karnes City.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.

Interment followed in the Gillett Cemetery in Gillett.

Serving as pallbearers were Clinton Odom, Terry Odom, Chris Green, Juan Torres, Jason Black, and David Filmore.
