Aniyah Snow, age 5, the daughter of Savannah Hailey, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Texas Pageant to be held June 7-8 in the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Houston. The pageant is for girls ages 5-18.

Aniyah’s activities include cheerleading, modeling, and acting. She also enjoys school, coloring, and drawing, as well as taking pictures and posing.

The pageant program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation, with emphasis on the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills, and setting and achieving personal goals. Each year the pageant awards thousands in scholarships and prizes to recognize and assist in the development of young women nationwide.

Her sponsors include her family and friends, Powers Edge Realty LLC, and the Beaver family.
