Paul Gene “Popeye” Tkadlec, a resident of San Antonio, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, at 2:58 p.m. in Odyssey Healthcare of San Antonio at the age of 53 years, 8 months, and 13 days. Paul was born July 23, 1959, in Jourdanton, Texas, the son of Leo and Hilda Richter Tkadlec. After graduating from Floresville High School, class of 1978, Paul was a carpenter for many years. He had been a resident of San Antonio since 1986. . . .
