Stockdale News: Band Boosters Note-Worthy Patron Club
The Stockdale Independent School District (ISD) Marching Band is in desperate need of new uniforms. The 11-year-old uniforms are falling apart, stained, and made of fabric that requires dry cleaning, which is expensive and inconvenient. The Stockdale Band Boosters and the band students have worked very hard toward the goal of purchasing new band uniforms. They are very close and are now asking for the community’s support to raise the remaining amount in time for the 2013 football season!
Please show your support of the Stockdale ISD Band Program by becoming a member of the new Stockdale Band Boosters Note-Worthy Patron Club. There are three levels of patronage and you will receive various forms of advertisement in return for your tax-deductible donation. The Stockdale Band Boosters is a registered nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable corporation.
For a donation of $25 or more, Quarter Note Club members receive their name displayed in newsletters, concert programs, and the band hall, and periodic Facebook mentions on the Stockdale Band Boosters page.
Half Note Club members -- donations of more than $100 -- receive all Quarter Note Club items plus newsletter and concert program advertising space, a football halftime mention, and a certificate of appreciation.
Whole Note Club members -- donations of more than $200 -- receive all Half Note Club items plus priority seating at all concerts, their name listed on show T-shirts, and an appreciation plaque.
Besides providing the halftime show and musical entertainment in the stands at all Stockdale High School varsity football games and pep rallies, the Stockdale High School Marching Band plays in the Stockdale Watermelon Jubilee Parade, the Stockdale Elementary Winter Wonderland, Christmas in Stockdale, at least two UIL competitions, two community concerts, and the Stockdale High School graduation ceremony. They have become an integral part of the community through hard work and dedication.
If you or your business would like to support the Stockdale Band Boosters fund-raising efforts with a tax-deductible donation, contact any Stockdale band member or Sammi Dover at 830-556-2336 or email@example.com.
This is a great opportunity for you to support music in our schools, receive a tax deduction, and help the Stockdale High School Marching Band purchase new uniforms!
