Mother’s Day dinner, dance set

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court No. 2497 Mary Queen of Peace, will host its second annual Mother’s Day Dinner and Dance Saturday, May 11, from 6 p.m. to midnight in the Sacred Heart Church Parish Hall at 1007 Trail St. in Floresville.

The theme is a Hawaiian luau. Tickets are $25 per person and will include a complimentary cocktail hour with wine and margaritas from 6-7 p.m., a steak dinner served at 7 p.m., and a dance at 8 p.m. A silent auction will also take place and door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. All proceeds will benefit court scholarships.

Get presale tickets now as only a limited number of tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are available from any member, or by calling Gracie Trevino at 210-355-2613.
