AUSTIN -- The Texas Hospitality Association will award a total of $10,000 in scholarships to four 2013 Texas high school graduating seniors as part of their campaign to fight underage drinking and to promote alcohol responsibility.

The association will award a $5,000 scholarship to the Texas high school senior who submits the best poster conveying the message or theme: “If you are under 21, it’s illegal to consume or purchase alcoholic beverages in Texas.” The winning posters will be used as part of a statewide alcohol awareness campaign.

The contest is open to all 2013 Texas high school seniors. Artwork must be an original design and may be computer or electronically generated, hand-drawn, or photographed.

Deadline for entries is Friday, May 3.
