I am Jennifer Moczygemba. My husband, Dick Moczygemba, and I have three children, ages 16, 14, and 7. We have lived in La Vernia since 2004.

I am a life insurance agent with Catholic Life Insurance and have been in the industry since 1986. Additionally, I am involved with the Paco Deer Company, where we raise whitetail deer.

I am active in La Vernia through city, school, and St. Ann’s Catholic Church, including Planning and Zoning Commission, Impact Fee Advisory Committee, Municipal Development District, Greater La Vernia Chamber of Commerce, and have served on committees for La Vernia ISD.

I am a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. I serve on the finance council, teach Sunday school, and also am a member of the Catholic Daughters.

La Vernia has some big challenges ahead. Water, infrastructure, and growth are just a few of the challenges that need to be addressed. We need to be able to direct our growth. I want to listen to the community and understand what is desired and necessary for our town to grow in a way that makes it a great place to continue to live. I would appreciate your vote on Saturday, May 11.
