Twenty-four years ago, I began my journey at SWTSU with a passion to become a speech-language pathologist. I embraced this passion because of my desire to help others.

My name is Susan Reinhard and I am running for the LVISD board of trustees, Place 3. I have lived in La Vernia for 14 years and have three children; Tyler is in ninth grade, Walker is in sixth, and Emily is in fourth.

Students are my No. 1 priority. We need to provide an exceptional educational environment for them, one in which they can excel and thrive. We need to support our teachers and administrators and provide the funding they need to help them succeed in teaching our children. We need education that is individualized to meet the potential that lies in every child. We also need the additional course selections and technologies that are needed to prepare our students for higher education and to be productive members of our community.

I want to help build the future of LVISD. With my experience in education, special education, budgeting, and the heart to want to help our wonderful community, I believe I will make a difference.

I would appreciate your vote! susanreinhard.schoolboard@gmail.com
