My name is Janette Chall and I am asking for your vote for Place 1 on the La Vernia ISD board of trustees. My family and I have lived in La Vernia for 13 years and I currently have a ninth-grader and sixth-grader in LVISD. My husband, Erik, works for Spectrum Advisory Group in San Antonio.

I worked as a teacher, educational specialist, and educational diagnostician for 19 years. I have also worked as an independent educational consultant for six years, serving school districts across Texas. Currently, I am the director of religious education at St. Ann Catholic Church, where I support over 30 volunteers and 340 students.

I am running for the LVISD board of trustees because I feel it is time for change. I am committed to help our schools grow in academic excellence at all campuses and want to see our district become a leader in technology for students. I am also committed to improving communication between the community, the school board, and the school staff.

Thank you for considering me for Place 1 on the LVISD board of trustees. I will do my very best to serve our community.
