Jillian Sue Rotter and Michael Andrew Seerden were united in marriage on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at two o’clock in the afternoon at St. Mary Cathedral in Austin, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Albert Laforet Jr.

Dr. Brooks Whitmore and Brett Barnes provided music for the ceremony.

Jillian is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Rotter of Poth. She is the granddaughter of Alice Jendrusch of Falls City and the late Chester Jendrusch, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Rotter, formerly of Poth.

Andrew is the son of William Seerden of Victoria and Sandra Broome of Cuero. He is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Martin Grobman, formerly of Waco, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Seerden, formerly of Houston.

Summer Rotter Soule of Springfield, Va., served as matron of honor. Bridal attendants included Candice Shrout of Austin, Alison Hartney of Denver, Colo., Ashley Raynor and Calley Raynor of College Station, Teree Jendrusch and Tessa Jendrusch of Falls City, and Marika Horn and Patricia Harrison of Houston.

Serving as best man was Jonathan Kieschnick of League City. Groomsmen included Cole Stanley of Littleton, Colo., Warren Heilker of Victoria, Jay Applewhite of Santiago, Chile, Craig Rotter of College Station, and Tod Eason, Ralph Manginello, Matthew Moriarty, and Sean O’Hare, all of Houston.

John Bradley Raynor of Killeen and Colby Felux of Houston served as ushers. The ring bearers were Kaleb Soule and Henry Lloyd, and the flower girls included McKay Lawless, Emma Lloyd, and Alice Soule.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride selected the beautiful gown, “Amaranth” by Monique Lhullier. Fashioned of ivory Alencon lace, the gown featured a portrait neckline, keyhole back, and split petal trumpet skirt with sweep train. To complement her gown, the bride wore an ivory cathedral-length veil and carried a beautiful bouquet composed of ivory roses and white peonies.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception with a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing at The Mansion at Judges Hill with entertainment by Austin band “Dysfunkshun Junkshun.” On Friday evening, the parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Austin Club.

Jillian is a graduate of Poth High School and Texas A&M University, class of 2003. She is currently employed with Joseph of Houston as a sales representative.

Andrew is a graduate of Victoria High School and Texas A&M University, class of 1995. He received his law degree from South Texas College of Law and is owner of The Seerden Law Firm, PLLC in Houston.

Following their honeymoon in Italy, the couple reside in Houston, Texas.
