CMMC welcomes pain specialist
Eric Miller, M.D.
Eric Miller, M.D., of Central Texas Pain Center, is now offering pain management services at the Connally Multi-Specialty Clinic. Dr. Miller founded Central Texas Pain Center in 2004 in New Braunfels. His practice sees more than 7,000 patients with clinics in New Braunfels, San Antonio, and now in Floresville.
Dr. Miller is experienced in the evaluation, treatment, and management of chronic pain conditions including low back pain, diabetic neuropathy, headaches, and arthritis pain. He strongly believes in an individualized and multidisciplinary approach to pain management. He works closely with the primary care physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, psychiatrists, neurologists, and surgeons to insure that each patient has the most optimal individualized treatment plan.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Dr. Miller earned his B.A. in biology from Washington and Jefferson College in 1995 and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1999. He also completed a one-year internship at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh and then completed both his anesthesiology residency and pain fellowship at Duke University.
Jerome M. Brooks, Connally Memorial Medical Center CEO, said, “Providing additional pain management services is another step in answering Wilson County’s needs for medical services.”
“Dr. Miller will be a great addition to our medical staff,” said Brooks. “We are happy he has chosen Wilson County to open a new practice and look forward to working with him in providing quality patient care.”
