The Sutherland Springs Museum is looking for families to help with its campaign to finalize the purchase of the land and building for the museum.

The renovation of the inside of the building was completed with donated materials and labor. Efforts are currently under way to collect supplies to complete the porch. Urgent donations also are needed, as a balloon payment of $38,000 is due by April 2014.

If 38 families donated $1,000 each over the course of one year, this cost would be covered. Donation suggestions are as follows:

•$1,000 - a one-time donation

•$500- two donations over one year

•$200 - five donations over one year

•$83 - every month (for 12 months).

All donations are appreciated and can be sent to S.S. Museum, P.O. Box 334, Sutherland Springs, TX 78161.

For more information, contact Sandra Shaw at 830-216-0850 or 830-305-1915, or sandra@ssmuseum.org.
