SAN ANTONIO -- The third annual American Hero 25k Relay will be held Sunday, May 26, at the Wheatley Heights Sports Complex at 1023 Upland Road. The event supports several charities, including the Wounded Warrior Project, Any Baby Can, and the American Cancer Society.

Four different events will be held with 33 divisions, including a 5k run/walk, a 25k run, a five-person 25k relay, and a 400-meter fun run for kids 12 and under. Olympic-sized medals will be given to all finishers. A free breakfast will be provided, as well as a free yearbook. Entertainment will be provided by “Mariachi Las Coronelas,” Sarah Centeno & “Supra 7,” and “Lady Heat Rays.”

There will be a discount available to those who register prior to April 30, and entry is just $10 for relay captains.
