Kathryn Dyches, a seventh-grader at Floresville Middle School, will receive “Grand Honoree” recognition at the Texas Recognition Ceremony at Trinity University in San Antonio on Monday, May 13, for her outstanding performance in the Duke University Talent Identification Program’s 2013 Seventh Grade Talent Search.

Kathryn’s SAT scores place her in the top 3 percent of all seventh-grade students who took the SAT test this year. Overall she scored in the top 10 percent of all students taking the SAT in 2012.

She is the daughter of Buddy and Deborah Dyches of Floresville.
