FLORESVILLE -- Deputies from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office and agents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) currently are involved in a manhunt in the area of the Creekwood and Cimarron residential subdivisions north of here.

Wilson County Sheriff Joe D. Tackitt Jr. said an unknown number of suspects fled officers on foot. This was after ICE agents had been watching a residence in Creekwood where several illegal aliens were believed to have been housed. Both subdivisions are located off U.S. 181.

Tackitt urged anyone in the area who witnesses suspicious persons or activity to call 911 immediately.

Retire about 160 miles south of here and make us all happy. Ice will let the criminals go anyway as they are potential Demo voters.

If only the authorities could put all this effort into shutting down the white trash meth labs in Creekwood. I'm sure if ICE was watching that house, they saw lots of other activities going on in the neighbor.
