Adrian Foegelle went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in his childhood home in Panna Maria, Texas. He was 87 years, 1 month, and 27 days. He was born on March 3, 1926, to Anton Foegelle and Mary Moczygemba.

He loved spending time with his family at their home and working on the ranch in Panna Maria. He also worked as a weigher at Atascosa Livestock Exchange and other local auction barns. In addition to farming and ranching, he drove a fuel truck for Gulf Oil for a number of years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twins John and Mary; infant son Jeffrey; brothers John Foegelle and wife Bridget and Isidore and Severen Foegelle; sister Mary Urbanczyk; and great-granddaughter Neveah Jansky.

Adrian is survived by his wife, Regina; daughters Judy Hons and husband David of Hobson, Linda Barnet and husband George of Bandera, Doris Rippstein and husband Gene of Floresville, and Jim Foegelle and wife Diana of McCoy; grandchildren Brian Hons and wife Becky, Nicole Dziuk and husband John, Steven Rippstein, and Jennifer Sara Jansky and husband Jason; 10 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 10 stepgreat-grandchildren; two stepgreat-great- grandchildren; sister Rosie Wiatrek of Cestohowa; sister-in-law Rose Foegelle of Karnes City; and brother-in-law Jack Urbanczyk of Elmendorf.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2, at 5 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. in the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Panna Maria.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Wieslaw Iwaniec officiating.
