FLORESVILLE -- Customers of Stelera Wireless LLC are being advised to seek other providers for Internet service.

The company notified area customers April 30 that, “... due to unsustainable business losses and third-party actions” beyond its control, Stelera will be unable to provide broadband access.

Stelera, operating in Wilson County since 2008, has been providing wireless technology to rural communities.

The communication from the company further advised customers “... we will endeavor to continue to provide ... Internet service as long as reasonably possible” but that customers should find another service to secure their Internet connections as soon as possible.

I've heard good things about Internet America, and BBB is not all it's cracked up to be. All you have to do is pay your dues to be "ACCREDITED." ... It's almost like a shakedown so I would ot let that stop me!

Internet America has an ad in this week's WCN, page 6A. It's good to check several sources and see which gives you the best response!
