Annual Luling Foundation Field Day

LULING -- The 86th annual Luling Foundation Field Day will be held Thursday, May 16, beginning at 7:30 a.m., in the Luling Foundation Demonstration Barn, located at 523 South Mulberry Ave. in Luling.

The field day is free and open to those involved in agriculture and agribusiness, said event coordinators. Event agriculture education activities include tours, speakers, demonstrations, and exhibits.

The foundation, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Oklahoma State University, the Texas Farm Bureau, the Texas Animal Health Commission, and others will present educational opportunities during the event.

Speakers include Dr. Larry Stein, AgriLife Extension horticulture specialist; Dr. Bob Lyons, AgriLife Extension rangeland specialist; Dr. Derrell Peel, Oklahoma State University Extension livestock marketing specialist; and Dr. Dee Ellis, Texas Animal Health Commission.
