Falls City sets playschool dates

The Falls City Independent School District will hold its Luther Thomas Elementary Summer Playschool Program for 4- and 5-year-olds during the month of June. Both programs will be Monday through Friday from 8:30-11:30 a.m., with 4-year-olds attending June 3-7, and 5-year-olds attending June 10-14.

Registration for the 4-year-old program will be held on the playground at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 3. All children within the Falls City school district who will turn 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 are encouraged to attend.

Registration for the 5-year-old program will be held on the playground at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 10. Children who will be attending Falls City school district next year and who will turn 5 on or before Sept. 1 are encouraged to attend.

Playschool will be held in the first portable building between the cafeteria and ag building. Parents may drop their child off and pick them up in the bus turn-around area.

Jeri Baugh and Phyllis Jarzombek will provide supervision for both programs.
