Marie F. Gonzales, 84, of Stockdale, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013. She was born on Feb. 15, 1926, in Mission Valley to Louis Florentine and Leona Willemin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred P. Gonzales; her sons, Freddy R. Gonzales and Bobby Joe Gonzales; her sister, Lucille Perez; and nephew “Sonny” Louis Perez Jr.

Marie is survived by her children, Betty Withers and husband Joe and Tommy Gonzales and wife Kris, all of Stockdale, and Virginia Soto and husband John of Converse; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with sharing time from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Artero Memorial Chapels in Victoria.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday from 12:30-1 p.m. in the memorial chapel.

Burial will follow on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Catholic Cemetery No. 2 in Victoria.
