Found: 2 brindle cows, on Sept. 12, at the end of La Gura Rd. in South Bexar County, located between South Loop 1604 and the San Antonio River, Gillett Rd. on east and Schultz Rd. on the west. Call after 8 p.m., 210-310-9206.
Lost: Chihuahua, black, tan, and white male, "Spy," very small, off F.M. 775, across from the Woodlands on Sept. 26, he is missed dearly. Call 830-391-5055.

The Stockdale Family Medical Center has been operating since June of 1977. The business is owned and operated by Dr. Daryl Currier. The Stockdale Family Medical Center offers health care to the Stockdale community and other surrounding communities.

The goal of this business is to provide high-quality health care for the people of Wilson County. The medical center specializes in checkups, immunizations, sport physicals, and many other ways to keep the community healthy.

The medical center contributes to the Stockdale Chamber of Commerce by sponsoring such events as the Jubilee and rodeo or donating to the court candidates. The medical center also sponsors many of the events for the school, including H.O.P.E. Day, Pennies for Patients, towels to throw at football games, and many other fun events.

Finch Funeral Chapel

The Stockdale Finch Funeral Chapel has been operating since 1961. The business is owned and operated by Troy Finch. The goal of Finch Funeral Chapel is to provide funeral services with as much integrity as possible.

The Finch Funeral Home contributes to the community by donating to the school functions, charities, and organizations like the Little League. Finch contributes to the Stockdale Chamber of Commerce by donating to fund-raisers throughout the community and donating to the Stockdale Jubilee and rodeo.

Junior Journalists in Charlin Akin’s journalism class at Stockdale High School are highlighting members of the Stockdale Chamber of Commerce on this community page as a service to the chamber. The Junior Journalist program is part of the Wilson County News’ Newspapers In Education program.
