Wildlife banquet set for Thursday

FLORESVILLE -- The Wilson County Wildlife Management Association will hold its first banquet Thursday, May 16, from 6-9 p.m. in the Floresville Event Center. The association invites existing members and nonmembers alike to attend.

The association is a local, nonprofit organization with the goal of improving wildlife habitat and wildlife populations in Wilson County for the benefit of current and future generations. The banquet will kick off with a social hour at 6 p.m., and beverages will be available for purchase. Dinner and the annual meeting will commence by 7 p.m., and tickets for a delicious barbecue dinner will be available at the door at a cost of $10 for members, and $15 for nonmembers.

The event center is located at 600 S.H. 97 W.
