The Guada-Coma chapter of the Independent Cattlemen’s Association of Texas will host its next meeting Monday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the Seguin Cattle Company in Seguin.

Jay Gray, a well-known analyst in cattle futures, will give a program about the pros and cons of the cattle futures and the influences of the cash market at the time of livestock sale at market. He is a regular on the KWED farm report. Accompanying him will be Larry Marble, the host and owner of the “Down on the Farm” radio program.

Marble began the farm and ranch news program on KKYX in 1995 with a Saturday morning program. Three years later, Marble dedicated himself full time to the program by adding a noon-hour report which has grown from 15 minutes to nearly an hour a day. He is looking forward to meeting the folks who listen to his program.

This will be an exciting evening. Take a friend, as the public is invited. A barbecue meal with all the trimmings will be served.

For more information or to register, contact Carilyn John at 830-379-2488, 210-827-1696, Leonora Kuhn at 830-639-4931, 830-401-1444, or Sharon Tate at 830-639-4625 or 830-401-1979.
