ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Offer condolences


Gemma Mary Lyssy entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 17, 2013. She was born on March 19, 2013, to Gordon and Jessica Lyssy.

Gemma was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Henson.

She is survived by her parents; sisters Hailey and Amanda; paternal grandparents Rudy and Evelyn Lyssy; maternal grandmother Joan Henson; paternal great-grandmother Regina Lyssy; maternal great-grandparents Rosalie Wenzel and Archie Henson; aunts and uncles Duane and Patience Lyssy and David and Paula Lyssy; and cousins Bria, Paige, Hannah, and Amelia.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale, Texas.

A rosary was recited on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in San Antonio.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. in St. Ann’s Parish Cemetery in Kosciusko.
