John T. McMahon, 76, of New Berlin passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. He was born on Oct. 1, 1936, in Bastrop, Texas, to John Thomas and Kathryn (Ashley) McMahon.

John was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Dottie Stofa and May Vaughn Beaudoin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Margaret McMahon; sons Trey McMahon and wife Charlotte, Michael J. McMahon, Josh Moczygemba and wife Rachel, and Sean McMahon and Beatrice; grandchildren Blake McMahon, Kyndall McMahon, Lillian McMahon, and Jackson Moczygemba; sisters Kathy Milligan and Dee Dee Munsterman and husband Frank; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17, from 5-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in La Vernia.

Interment followed in the Panna Maria Cemetery in Panna Maria.

Memorial contributions may be made by way of Masses.
