Pauline Peters “Omie” Trost, 86, of Seguin passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Pauline was born on June 12, 1926, in Denhawken, Texas, to Paul Adolph and Linchen Schulz Peters.

Pauline loved being actively involved at Faith Lutheran Church and also spending precious time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Trost; her daughter, Brenda Gescheidle; her parents; and her sister, Stella Fay Montgomery.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Deborah Vogel and husband Robert; son-in-law Allen Gescheidle; grandsons Robby Vogel and wife Patricia, Ryan Vogel and wife Haley, and Paul Allen Gescheidle and girlfriend Cheryl Scalfani; great-granddaughter Libby Lynn Vogel; sister Ella May Calloway and husband Connie; brother-in-law Atz Trost and wife Maxine; sisters-in-law Viola Trost, Margo Trost, and Maxine Trost; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that are dearly loved and cherished.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17, from 5-7 p.m. in the Tres Hewell Mortuary in Seguin.

A funeral service was held on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Faith Lutheran Church in Seguin, officiated by Dr. Paul M. Cross.

Interment followed in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park in New Braunfels.

Serving as pallbearers were Robby Vogel, Ryan Vogel, Paul Gescheidle, David West, Wade Trost, David Baenziger, and Jim Montgomery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 1326 E. Cedar, Seguin, TX 78155; the American Diabetes Association, San Antonio office, 8610 N. New Braunfels, Ste. 400, San Antonio, TX 78217; or the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 841125, Dallas, TX 75284-1125.
