Falls City library plans summer reading

Readers, are you ready? Save the date to register for the Summer Reading Club at the Falls City Public Library on Tuesday, May 28. The library is located at 206 North Irvin in Falls City, and hours are 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

All are invited to “Dig Into Reading” for the chance to win prizes and earn a certificate of achievement. The goals of the Reading Club are to encourage children and families to read for pleasure, to help children maintain and improve their reading skills, and to encourage them to become lifelong readers and library users.

The library has several activities planned, including story times, arts and crafts, a magic show, and a visit from the Texas State Aquarium.
