The Wilson County Judge has issued an evacuation order for all residents living along the San Antonio River from Elmendorf to below Floresville in Wilson County. The evacuation shelter is located at the Floresville Middle School located at 2601 B Street. Shelter will open at 5:30 pm.

The San Antonio River is forcasted to crest around 60 feet between 3:00 am and 6:00 am Sunday morning in central Wilson County with a slow fall sunday afternoon. Record crest of 64.7 Feet occurred in 1998. This a life treatening situation and should not be taken lightly or as a wait and see attitude. If you are in the area of the San Antonio River and have been flooded before, you will flood again.

Repeating: this is a flood emergency situation for the San Antonio River in Wilson County effective immediately.
