Beavers plan football camp
FALLS CITY -- Falls City will host a Beaver Football Camp Wednesday through Friday, July 31-Aug. 2, for all incoming third- through eighth-grade students. The camp will run from 6-8 p.m.
The Falls City Beaver Football Camp is a non-competitive style of camp. Emphasis will not be on “winning” games, but rather, the camp will focus on each player’s improvement and enjoyment of the game. The camp motto is to “Have fun ... getting better!” Coaches will be enthusiastic and will impart their love of the game to each camper.
Groups will be broken up by age and skill level. Campers will play games and compete in contests with other campers of similar age and skill level, so that each camper has a great opportunity for success. This is not a camp for only great athletes or players. All skill levels are encouraged to attend.
The camp will include individual defensive work, team defensive concepts, individual offense, team offensive concepts, station work, team games, skills and fundamentals at all positions, instruction from the Beaver high school coaching staff, and a certificate of completion.
The cost of the camp is $30 per child, and includes a T-shirt.
