Offer condolences


Eddy E. Jones, a longtime resident of the San Antonio area, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013, at the age of 80. He was born on May 7, 1933, to Pearl and Enos Jones.

He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea and retired from Civil Service as a firefighter.

Eddy was preceded in death by his wife, Lee Jones; his parents; brother Marion Jones; and son-in-law David Lee Reeves.

He is survived by daughters Kathryn Reeves and Karey Danysh and husband William; sons Eddy E. Jones Jr. and wife Debbie, and Enos “Skeet” Jones and wife Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 3, at 2 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio, Texas.

A funeral service was held on Monday at 3 p.m. in the funeral chapel.

Interment followed in the Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio.
