Lilly “Bo” Flores Torres passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 72 years, 10 months, and 11 days. She was born July 15, 1940, in Floresville, the daughter of Severa Valadez and Emilio Flores Jr. She was a lifelong resident of Floresville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-granddaughter.

Lilly is survived by her husband, Casaimiro Torres of Floresville; her children, Cathy Martinez and Joe Aguillar of Nixon, Sarah Hernandez and husband Joe of Floresville, Vangie Montoya and husband Ismael of Floresville, Sylvia Pena and husband Ruben of San Antonio, Mary Ellen Barrera and husband Joe of Floresville, Joe De La Fuentes and wife Crystal of Floresville, and Emilio Martinez and wife Felicia of Floresville; her brother, Emilio V. Flores and wife Pauline of Floresville; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Visitation was held Wednesday, May 29, at 5 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville with the Rev. Phil Henning officiating.

Inurnment will follow at a later date.
