Frances Margaret (Grun) Hartwick, 64, of Gonzales, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013. She was born on Nov. 5, 1948, in San Antonio to John D. and Mary Alma (Gibbons) Grun.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; and son Timothy John Hartwick.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Frank Hartwick; son Andrew Hartwick and wife Stephanie; daughter Katrina Hartwick Orcutt and husband Jim; grandchildren Alicia Orcutt, John Mark Orcutt, Amanda Orcutt Thomas and husband Dustin, Payton Hartwick, Madyson Hartwick, Cody Beyer, Tyler Hartwick, and Janna Hartwick; great-grandchildren Kayley Thomas and Katie Thomas; brothers William Joe Grun, Arthur Wayne Grun, and Johnny Grun; many nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
