Qualifications: Have active worship life and ongoing growth in faith, understanding of Lutheran-Christian tradition, ability to work with both adults and youth, basic computer and organizational skills. Director will disciple both parents and youth grades 1-12, establish appropriate caring relationships with youth, seek opportunities to connect with youth in their environment on their schedule, organize parents into groups for children's ministry work, arrange at least 3 annual local events or trips for Sr. high youth, recruit and encourage youth and adults to take positions of shared leadership and involvement, create and implement means for regular communication with parents and youth, manage youth and family ministry calendar in collaboration with staff, parents, and youth. Bradley and Darla Mondin of Seguin, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Jo, to Clifford Wayne Sandersen, the son of Oluf and Beckie Sandersen of Luling.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Evelyn Doege of Seguin and the late Wilfred Doege, Hazel Mondin, and Kenneth Mondin, all formerly of Seguin, and the late Nathan Gordon Sr., formerly of Nixon. She is the great-granddaughter of Reka Rhoades of Stockdale.

Brandy is a 2005 graduate of Seguin High School, a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, and a 2013 graduate of Lamar University with a master’s degree in educational administration. She is a teacher with the Seguin Independent School District.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Eva Denison of Luling and the late George Denison, and the late Oluf J. and Emma Deen Sandersen, all formerly of Luling.

Clifford is a 2005 graduate of Luling High School. He is currently employed as a supervisor in the oil-field industry with FWP in Luling.

The couple are planning a formal wedding Saturday, July 13, 2013, in the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Seguin, Texas, with the Rev. Paul Zwarich to officiate.
