SAFILM Festival will present the premiere of “Texas Before The Alamo” on Monday, June 17, at 7:15 p.m. on a large outdoor screen in Hemisfair Park at 420 South Alamo in San Antonio.

The film is about the founding of Texas and the Spanish who established missions, presidios, and trails now known as Goliad, the Alamo, San Antonio Missions, and El Camino Real de los Tejas. The premiere will also feature live baroque music of Spanish Texas. Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to take lawn chairs. Contact Adam Rocha at 210-885-5888 or safilm@gmail.org.
