On May 11, the Floresville Rotary held its fifth annual Shrimp Boil, which is the main fund-raising event for the local club. A record number of tickets were sold this year for this fun, family-oriented happening. A large selection of silent auction items was available at the event; the most popular item being a scoreboard for playing washers. Live music was provided by local band, “Raisin’ Kane.” . . .
