Theresa Marie Fenner is the 2013 valedictorian for Falls City High School. She is the daughter of Vernon Fenner Jr. and Gloria Fenner.

Theresa’s school activities include National Honor Society, class treasurer, FFA, band, Spanish Club, Drama Club, Journalism, and UIL.

One of the greatest things she will remember is the incredible support the town has for the school, and nothing showed it more than a Falls City pep rally and Friday night game during football season. This support and strong school pride, and the great times she spent sharing it with friends, is something she will always remember.

Theresa’s advice for future graduates is to get involved with school activities and have fun. Always put your best into everything you do, and know that you can do anything you set your mind to.

She wished to thank the great teachers and friends who have helped her throughout high school, but especially her parents, who have been helpful to her through high school and for her entire life. They’ve always been there, whether it was helping to study or staying up with her while she finished a project. Most importantly, they have always encouraged her and pushed her to try her hardest and do her very best in everything, and she could not be at this point in her life without them.

This fall, Theresa will be attending Texas A&M University in College Station to major in nutritional science to become a nutritionist.
