Kirsten Wiatrek, the daughter of Greg and Carol Wiatrek, is the highest-ranking senior for the East Central High School class of 2013. Throughout her four years in high school, Kirsten served as a freshman class officer and has been a member of the Beta Club, the National Honor Society, Interact Club, and SkillsUSA.

Kirsten also participated in athletics, playing volleyball her freshman year and lettering all four years as a varsity softball player, where she received First-Team and All-State honors, as well as serving as a captain her sophomore through senior years. Kirsten was a varsity cheerleader all four years and held the positions of co-captain and captain her junior and senior year, respectively.

Kirsten plans to attend the University of the Incarnate Word to pursue a medical career.
