AUSTIN -- The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Juan Jesus Martinez, 62, and Reynaldo Ybarra Zamora, 59, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list. Cash rewards -- up to $3,000 for Martinez and up to $5,000 for Zamora -- are now being offered for information leading to their capture. All tips can be offered anonymously.

Martinez (pictured above at left) has ties to the Dallas area, and has been known to work in carpet installation and brick laying jobs. An additional reward of up to $5,000 from North Texas Crime Stoppers is offered for Martinez’s arrest. He is wanted for parole violation and sex offense against child-fondling. His violent criminal history includes convictions for the aggravated kidnapping of his estranged spouse and the aggravated rape of another woman.

Martinez, who is also known as John Jesus Martinez, is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He has multiple tattoos, including a scroll with “Madre” on his left forearm. Zamora (pictured above at right) has relatives and friends living in Austin, Dallas, Lake McQueeney and Seguin, and has been known to work as a farm laborer. Zamora has a violent criminal past and is wanted for aggravated kidnapping, burglary of a habitation, evading arrest/detention and parole violation. His criminal history includes aggravated kidnapping, sexual assault, indecent exposure, theft, burglary of a habitation, evading arrest/detention, criminal mischief and drug charges.

Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.

There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips:
Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
Text the letters DPS -- followed by your tip -- to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

All calls, texts, e-mails and Facebook messages are anonymous.

DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives for the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Sex Offender lists. You can find the current lists -- with photos -- on the DPS website at http://www.dps.texas.gov/texas10mostwanted/.

Do not attempt to apprehend these fugitives; they are considered armed and dangerous.
