Offer condolences


David Wayne Williams, 48, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013. He was born on Sept. 28, 1964, in Fayetteville, N.C., to Rupert Dixon and Doris Faye (Cottle) Williams.

David is survived by his loving wife, Susan Williams; daughters Allison Williams, Marlene Williams, and Audrey Williams; parents Rupert and Doris Williams; sisters Donna Mautsby, Melinda Whittington, and Virginia Hyatt; brother Jr. Williams; his beloved dog, Kaleb; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, June 17, at 1 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

Interment followed in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors in San Antonio.
