The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gene and Brenda Baine of Eddyville, Ill.

Katie was born and raised in Stockdale and graduated from Stockdale High School in 2008. She is currently employed at Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union in their corporate office in Universal City.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Nick and Adela Hudek, formerly of Adkins, and Jerome and Florence Real of St. Hedwig.

Nick is a 2005 graduate of East Central High School and a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural systems management. He is currently employed with H-E-B as a store director in Pleasanton.
