Shooting event benefits San Antonio stock show

SAN ANTONIO -- The annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Boots ’N Shoot Sporting Clay Event is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 16, at the National Shooting Complex, located at 5931 Roft Road in San Antonio. All proceeds from this event will benefit the calf scramble program participants from local 4-H and FFA programs.

The event will be for teams of five, with flights available at 12 noon and 3:30 p.m. In addition to the sporting clays, there will be two-man flush and 5-stand individual shooting contests, as well.

A gourmet dinner with unlimited beverages will follow from 6-10 p.m. Individual tickets are also available to non-shooters for $100 each. A reserved table for 10 is $1,000. Attendees must be 21 years old. Live music, dancing, an awards ceremony, and auctions will follow.

Silver Clay Team sponsorship is $1,250 for a team of five shooters, and includes dinner. The Gold Clay Team sponsorship is $3,000, which covers a team of five shooters, a reserved dinner table for 10, use of one golf cart, and signage displayed at the event. The Platinum Clay Team sponsorship is $5,000, which includes entry for five shooters, a reserved table for 10, an instructor and additional targets, signage, and the use of two golf carts.
